Hot takes Bryson, shoeless Glover, and −30 👀 I’m picking a side on all of it. |

The Bryson two-shot penalty… fair or not? ![]()
Call it in the moment, or don’t call it at all. Caught on camera, 100% clear? Penalize it. Ball moves, club grounds in a bunker… that’s a penalty every single time. But from those angles you can’t tell if Bryson was chasing an advantage or just running his normal routine a little hot. You can’t hand out two strokes on speculation. Didn’t love it. |
Shoeless Glover: team Lucas or team rules official?
Team Glover, and it’s not close. That was hilarious. Kind of petty too, and that’s exactly why I loved it. He even doubled down after the round: “you can fix my marks now.” This is the thing YouTube golf does really well. Golfers aren’t robots, and people are gonna remember Lucas now. |

30 under wins LIV UK, 25 under takes the 3M… fun or too easy?
Sprinkle in some hard courses. That’s all I ask. Birdies are good, y’all. Birdie fests are FUN, and the Tour has majors to balance things out. Herbert going close at The Open then backing it up the very next week was cool. My real gripe is the Korn Ferry Tour. I wish 10 to 15 under got REWARDED out there… not lapped into 50th. |
Links or parkland?
Links. 100% of the time. Would the luster fade if I played it every single day instead of tree-lined American golf? Maybe. But links golf, especially when the wind isn’t howling, is the most fun you can have on a golf course. All day, every day… and twice on Sundays. |
