Teeing it up on the first at Royal County Down with my brother was, and always will be, an unforgettable moment.
The ultimate links test, the ultimate pairing. I brought out the patented soft fade and split the opening fairway — after that, things got tough. Howling winds, tight fairways, and thick fescue tested every part of our games. Sure, we hit some questionable shots, but when the Mountains of Mourne and the shores of Dundrum Bay frame nearly every hole, it’s impossible not to enjoy the walk. The scorecard? Forgettable. The memories? Magical. – George |

The Early Walk Leaderboard 🚶
Shoutout to Kevin Na for the iconic early walk. As you’ve seen, we love an early walk too. Most of the time, they drop... (👀) so we figured we’d keep track of them. Meet The Early Walk Leaderboard. It’s simple: we’ll track the longest early walks all season. Notice who’s at the top? That’s what I thought.

Wedgley Bryan's Yardages
presented by Takomo
I asked Wesley if he could send me his wedge yardages for a segment I wanted to write in partnership with Takomo... he sent me this on WhatsApp... so it will have to do 😂

Wesley’s Note: “I flight the 52° more than any other club — it’s my go-to for that one-hop-and-stop inside 90.
It gives me predictable launch with enough bounce to slide through tight lies without digging.
When I need spin without the moon-ball, the 52° is the window I trust.
Getting that ball within 'I'll Tap' distance.”

Keegan Bradley just unveiled his Ryder Cup squad — and it’s stacked.
First off, props to Keegan: he didn’t pick himself. Bold, selfless, and a move we respect big time. (Although if he needs a couple of energetic subs… George and I can keep the locker room loose 👀).

💡 Tip of the Week
George’s Tip: “When you’re driving into a strong headwind, resist the urge to swing harder. Tee the ball a touch lower, make a smooth, controlled swing, and focus on solid contact. A lower flight with less spin will go further than a ballooned drive.”

That’s it for this week’s Bryan Brief.
Thanks for hanging out with us — we’ll be back next week with more stories, shots, and a little chaos from the world of golf.
