👋 Hey y’all, George here.
Since it’s Christmas (woo!), this felt like the right time to slow things down and reflect for a moment.
This year had a lot of moments that made me stop and think, “this is pretty cool.” Some were big, some were small, and most did not look special on paper. Still, they meant a lot to me. Golf has a funny way of doing that. Today’s Bryan Brief is less about swings or scores and more about what actually sticks. The lessons learned, the moments that mattered, and the things I want to carry forward into next year. Don't miss the Christmas giveaway below!
P.S. Pelli’s Tip of the Week is near the end. Helping you choose the right tee boxes for your round!

🎸 Highlight of 2025
We filmed a video with Linkin Park. A band I grew up listening to for over 20 years. Then we went to the show and met the guys. Just talking golf and life.
The part that really hit was realizing that golf brought us there. It will not be our biggest video by views, but it was easily one of the most meaningful moments of the year. |

🧠 The lesson 2025 taught me
This year reminded me that you can compete hard without losing the fun. I care deeply about winning, but I learned that when frustration takes over, it shows. People want to smile and enjoy the ride.
I am taking this with me into next year. Keep the edge, keep the competitiveness, but also let yourself enjoy the moment. Golf and life are better when you do. |

😄 The most fun I had all year
Some of the most fun this year came from the experiences, not the results. Traveling, filming Major Cuts, and playing golf in incredible places with great people never gets old. Those trips are always special.
Being in new countries, feeling the energy of the crowds, and just competing again reminded me why I love this game so much. It was fun in the purest sense, and that is something I never want to lose. |

❤️ What I am most grateful for
What I am most grateful for this year is family. Becoming a parent has changed my perspective in ways I never expected. It brings a mix of joy, stress, and meaning that is hard to put into words.
Watching your kids grow and discover the world is something really special. Those moments do not show up on camera, but they are the ones that matter most to me. |

🎄 How I actually like to spend Christmas
When golf and cameras are off, Christmas for me is about slowing down. Sitting around with family, eating good food, watching games, and having no real schedule. Nothing fancy and no agenda.
Just being present, messing around a bit, and enjoying the simple stuff. That time together is what really fills the tank, and it is what I look forward to most every year. |

➡️ What I am taking into next year
Next year I want to bring more fun and more presence into everything. Compete hard, care a lot, but still enjoy the people, the places, and the moments. That is when golf feels the best.
What I am happy to leave behind is letting frustration run the show. I do not want to be the guy who complains when things are not going my way. Keep the edge, but keep the joy too. |

That wraps up this Christmas edition of The Bryan Brief 🎄
A little less about mechanics, and a little more about perspective. Have fun first, appreciate how thin the margins are, and try not to overcomplicate a game that is already hard enough.
💬 Reply to this email and tell us one simple thing that helps you enjoy golf more. It can be a habit, a rule, or just a mindset shift you swear by.
