and now we’re packing for our first trip to Asia.
George and I leave Friday for the Philippines to tee it up on The International Series. Can’t wait to test our games, tell some stories, and bring you along for the ride. Also in today’s Brief — George and I weigh in on the Colt Knost amateur debate. Let’s just say… we don’t exactly see eye to eye. 👀

🗣️ George Weighs In: The Colt Knost Amateur Debate
There’s been a lot of talk lately — should Colt Knost get his amateur status back?
I like Colt. He’s funny, great on the mic, and clearly still loves the game. But after playing that many years on the PGA Tour and making a solid career out of it, I just don’t think you should be able to hit rewind. If he wants to stay competitive, jump into pro-ams or fun events where both pros and amateurs can play. But teeing it up in U.S. Ams or Mid-Ams? That part of his career feels like it’s in the rearview. Don’t get me wrong — I’m a fan of Colt the guy. I just think Colt the player had his run as a pro, and that’s where it should stay. That’s my take… though ask me again next week, I might’ve changed my mind. 😅 |

My official stance on Colt Knost applying for his amateur status: I actually like that he wants to play competitive golf again.
He obviously can’t compete at the professional level anymore — he doesn’t practice or play much, and spends most of his time behind a microphone — but I think the young guys would welcome some old, cagey competition. And while we’re on the subject… I’ve been thinking about getting my amateur status back too. |
