Bryan Brief Header
👋 Hey y’all - George here. PGA Championship week is always one of my favorites. We got a bunch of good questions this week about Peter Finch, YGT, my rehab and PGA picks… so I figured I’d answer a few of them in here. Feels like creator golf is entering a really fun phase right now.
P.S. This week’s Tip of the Week is for anyone struggling with their sequencing 👀
🎥 Peter Finch goes way back for us
George Bryan and Peter Finch
We first met Peter back around 2013 or 2014 during the early trick shot and Whistle Sports days. Me, Wesley, Peter, Rick Shiels, Me and My Golf… all of us were around that early YouTube golf world before anybody knew how big it would become. We filmed together out at the PGA Show in Orlando and hit it off right away. Peter was already ahead of the game from a content standpoint, but what stood out most was how much he loved golf itself. Great attitude, super knowledgeable, funny guy and somebody who genuinely cared about getting better and helping other people improve too.
⛳ Finchy’s game = trending

One thing I really respect is that Peter’s still pushing himself competitively. A lot of creators get so busy filming that tournament golf slowly fades into the background. He’s gone the opposite direction. He’s made a real effort the last few years to improve his game, play qualifiers and compete seriously again. That’s not easy when you’re creating content full-time. I honestly think his game now is as good, maybe even better, than it was 10 years ago. That’s pretty impressive.
🏌️ YGT... motivation level 📈
YGT has definitely pushed all of us to practice harder. Once teams, drafts and competition get involved, it changes the energy pretty quickly. For me personally, the frustrating part right now is balancing that motivation with the side injury. I’m trying to keep the game sharp while also not pushing things too far physically. Wesley has been absolutely grinding lately though (kinda scary tbh). You can feel how competitive everybody’s getting already, and I think that’s gonna make YGT really fun to follow.
👀 We want your thoughts on YGT
YGT future ideas
One thing I’d genuinely love feedback on is where y’all want to see YGT go over time. More behind-the-scenes stuff? Bigger team rivalries? Trades? More serious competition? More chaos? Different formats? We read way more replies than people probably think. So hit reply and let us know what would make this the most fun for you guys to follow.
🏆 My PGA Championship picks
PGA Championship picks
I’m gonna say Brooks Koepka is gonna contend at some point this week. Feels like a course that sets up really well for him. I also think this place looks perfect for Scottie Scheffler. Then I’ll throw in Matt Fitzpatrick as a sneaky pick too. And you can never count Rory out in a major.
🎬 Major Cut at Aronimink?
Aronimink Golf Club
A bunch of y’all asked if we could do a Major Cut around Aronimink during PGA week. Right now I don’t think it’s possible because of course availability, scheduling and a few logistical things happening around the event. But trust me… we’d absolutely love to make something like that happen in the future.

Fix Your Sequencing

  • If your swing looks good but ball striking is off, your sequencing might be the issue.
  • When the hips slow down and the arms run away, you can get stuck hanging back on your trail foot.
  • The feel is simple: together, arms, together, arms.
  • Go together to the top, let the arms come down to waist high, then turn through together.

Do it slowly first. Clean up the sequence and the strike starts to clean up too.

👉 Haven’t submitted your swing yet?

That’s it for this week’s Bryan Brief.

Really appreciate all the feedback and replies lately. It’s been awesome seeing how invested everybody already is in YGT and creator golf as a whole. Feels like this space is entering a completely new chapter right now.

👉 What’s one thing you’d love to see added to YGT in the future? Hit reply and let me know.
