👋 Hey y’all - George here. We just wrapped filming the very first YGT event and WOW… I think this is the best YouTube golf content we’ve ever been part of. The competition, the atmosphere, the golf, the pressure… it all felt real. Wanted to give y’all a little behind-the-scenes update from Pursell because this thing is officially happening now.

🏌️ Everybody wanted to win
One of the coolest parts about this first event was seeing how seriously everybody took it. This didn’t feel like guys just showing up to film YouTube videos.
Kwon was out grinding on the range. Wesley was preparing like it was a PGA Tour event. Everybody wanted to play well and compete.
You know you’ve got something cool when Kwon is out there grinding balls on the range 😂 😂

🌿 Pursell was absolutely pure
I think Pursell was the best I’ve ever seen it this week. The fairways were firm, the greens were absolutely pure and everything about the setup felt like a legitimate tournament. Once the signage went up and everybody got out there practicing, it stopped feeling like “creator golf” and started feeling like a real event. The atmosphere all week was electric.

🚀 We built this thing from scratch
One thing that hit me this week was the fact we actually pulled this thing off. Me, Wesley, Grant and the team built YGT from scratch. We had to find sponsors, raise purse money and make the whole thing happen ourselves. Getting to this week and filming the first event was a surreal feeling for everybody involved. Now we just can’t wait for y’all to see it.
